The thing we like about our location is we're right next to the Paddock Pool, which means a short walk to swim and to do laundry.

I love that the 1BR and 2BR villas have a washer/dryer in the villa. So convenient to be right there and free to use. Since you stayed in a studio and had to use a SSR laundromat, as a DVC owner, is it free?

Yes, the laundromats at DVC resorts are free to guests; you don't have to put coins in the machines to use them. At the SSR Paddock Pool laundromat, the machines have the typical vending machine coin slots which may mislead someone to think coins are needed. But they are not.
