Bought AKV direct from Disney about a week after closing on SSR resale purchase

While determining how I would use our 120 pt SSR resale contract, I determined we would need more points. So, not long after closing, and just before the price went up on 7/15, I got 110 points at AKV direct from Disney! We should be closing soon. I figured it was worth the extra $$ to have the option to use Disney Collection, etc, as we can't predict the next 45 years! I'm so excited to go on our first DVC trip in September! My husband is staying 3 nights and I'm staying 2 more. We got a AKV Studio Savannah view and I will spend the last two nights at VWL!! I've always wanted to stay there!

Will both of your contracts have the same UY? If so make sure the resale agent knows about your direct purchase so they can add your resale contract to the same member number. Otherwise you could end up with two member numbers and that would affect how you use the points together on a reservation.

Yes, both are the same use year. Disney sales made sure of it. So, we have only one membership number. Thanks for asking.
