Still more Animal Kingdom villas added to DVC inventory

Another declaration, I always like when they add more room availability at a resort. One thing I've never figured out is when DVC opens the rooms for booking. In the past it looks like it may have been before the declaration was made. Has anyone noticed an increase in WL's coming through for AKV?

Very infrequently, I have seen a few deeds being filed and recorded with the Orange County Comptroller a few days before the Unit's declaration was recorded with OCC.

I doubt whether this latest declaration will affect many members' AKV wait lists, at least not right away. I have no evidence to prove this, but I suspect DVD knows how much of AKV will be declared in the future and lets members book AKV stays using points as of those future dates. For example, AKV is currently 85.09% declared for the Membership. Lets say that DVD plans on making another declaration by October 1, 2012, which will raise the Membership declaration to 90%. Therefore, DVC could already be accepting reservations effective October 1 and thereafter at the 90% rate.

I hope DVD declaring all of these new rooms in AKV will give me a higher chance of getting a room.
