DVC discount or early booking for Wine and Food festival

As I recall, last year DVC members got to book early for events at the Wine and Food fest. Any idea if this will happen again as the Aug 14 date for everyone looms? I think we also received a small discount on some events.

I have to admit that I didn't know DVC members had early booking for the FW activities. I have not been able to find anything about booking early in 2012. I did find some interesting information from AllEars.net:

Booking begins at 7 a.m. August 14 for special events for the 17th Annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. New experiences for 2012 include the Marketplace VIP Access Chef Tour, which begins at 10:30 a.m. every Wednesday, with tastes from selected marketplaces around World Showcase Lagoon and behind-the-scenes stories from the chefs. You get five (pre-selected) dishes and five beverages (wine, beer and cocktails) on the tour, which takes about two hours. Cost is $90 (plus tax and park admission). The Italy Pavilion is also adding a new Italian Regional Food & Wine Luncheon in the recently opened Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar, pairing wines with casual, authentic dishes. The leisurely luncheons will be from noon-2 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays. Cost is $75 (plus tax, gratuity included, park admission required). Italy will continue its popular series of International Food & Wine Festival events at Via Napoli, as well as the exquisite White Truffle Lunch on November 4 this year, in Tutto Italia Ristorante. Party for the Senses in the World ShowPlace Events Pavilion has new tier pricing this year: a reserved table on the main floor is $170 per person plus tax; a reserved table in the premium Wine View Lounge is $270 per person plus tax; general admission is $145 per person plus tax. Previous years AP discounts were available to Wine tastings - I usually book what I call the 'commercials' which are usually like $12 pp (the ones that use to be free ).

How do I find any of those food&wine tastings as I would love to know what they include and what they have.

Disney should be announcing any day now the complete schedule of events including all details (what day, price, where, etc). Should be found at Disney World site or any disney fan site or blog once announced.

Disney food blog stated that DVC members, annual passholders could start booking on August 10th and get a couple dollar discount on seminars Monday thru Thursday.

Thanks for the update. Also found similar info on DVC site. Disney Food Blog thinks full schedule may be out sometime Monday 7/30
