Are you celebrating anything special that night? If you put that on your ressie it often helps snag the best tables. I celebrated my bday there once and was given the best table in the house. Otherwise the only other suggestion I have is sort of lame: When the fireworks start tell your server you are going to be back, then go outside to the beach area and watch the show. Afterwards, return to finish your meal.

    Good luck!!!
You're right, Mar, that last one was kind-of lame
When the fireworks start, grab your plate of food, and your drink; take them with you outside to the beach area, and return after the fireworks with both empty, and order dessert!

Well now I'm confused. My dining ressie is at 9:15. I thought I had scored big time. Dinner and getting to see the fireworks. Now it's just a chance I can see the fireworks.Shoukd I just cancel dinner and go to the Poly beach and watch the fireworks? Remember my sole goal is to see and hear the fireworks. I really don't care about dinner. I want to see FIREWORKS! LOL

Skip dinner. Arrive around 9. Head up to Tambu Lounge. Order a couple Rum Runner togo and head down to the beach. Find a lounger, position it near one of the speakers, kick back & wait for the show.

Or if you don't want to skip dinner grab something from Captain Cook's before the fireworks. They are located in the poly and are one of the better counter service restaurants IMO. If you get to the beach area by 9 you'll also be able to catch the Electrical Water Pageant (EWP), which usually floats by the poly between 9 and 9:15. The fireworks don't start until ten on Labor day, so there will be a wait between the EWP and Wishes.

That's exactly what I'm going to do. Get counter service, watch the water parade and then the fireworks. Are there a lot of chairs in the area? Thanks all for your help.

Yes plenty of seating, but mostly chaise lounges, not chairs. As Viking said, they pipe in the audio, so you'll be able to hear everything as well as having a great view.
