California Grill refurb confirmed

NOOOO! That means it is closed for marathon weekend. That's our favorite place to eat too. Grrr.

We just made our reservations for our family gathering at BLT this morning. And now we know we will not be making an ADR at California Grill with this refurb going on. Actually with so many wee ones in our party I didn't think it would be appropriate to dine there as a family.

Maybe we need to make an ADR for Cali Grill for one of our trips this year!

I have never been to the cali grill but I would definitely want to eat there once before they refurb just in case it changes any...

does anyone recommend anything specific for me?

Food wise the sushi is amazing and I'd have to see a menu but I know whatever I ate was very tasty.. Biggest tip is try to book around wishes as you can go out to the end of the contemporary watch it and bring your wine or beverage with you. The best part is we booked a hair on the early side for wishes and our server asked if we wanted to see wishes and we deff wanted to so she said if it was ok with us she would delay putting our entree order in so we could get some more time there and we were fine with it as we got some apps and a bottle of wine. Also if you can get in the back right corner in what seems to be a little wine room we caught some of illuminations as well as the water parade. We had an excellent time it's a shame it will be closed for refurb when we visit in January.
