How do you copy a portion of what someone said in the quote bubble?

Go to the post you wish to quote and click the "Quote" button at the bottom of the frame. It will replicate their text and add the quote tags.

If you only want to post part of a quote do what tim posted above. Then just delete the portions you don't want. Be sure to leave the beginning and end (the portions with the brackets) intact, otherwise it won't work.

BTW this only works with the original quote. Once something has already been quoted you can't quote it again in a later post, the v-bulletin program won't do that. You'd have to go back to the original post (before it had been quoted) and do what I wrote in the paragraph above to get the portion you want. Have I confused you yet? (of course that is not my intention but I know this can be confusing)
Mar' (Mar' does NOT rhyme with Car, it's short for Marilyn)
