I just used RCI for a reservation .. I used a non-Disney trade -- It was a bit complicated but
the service was ok .. But you do get hit with the RCI fee .. Does anyone know of using RCI points at Disney ??

Has anyone had good or bad luck with the RCI trades? How are the resorts? And how is the availability?

Can I ask, how was the quality of the resort? Was it worth the points? Or was it cheesy compared to DVC?

Having been trying to book a non-Disney resort for over two years, have not been able to so far. Under a week I hear is not going to happen.

I belonged to RCI through a different timeshare. We did stay in Orlando one time with it as we traded out for a resort there, non-Disney. But for the most part we had a hard time getting the better resorts in the prime locations and finally got rid of it. It sounds like a good deal but when all the good locations are always booked it didn't turn out that way.

Really, its immposible to find a resort through RCI. So, don't count on a good resort through them, huh. Good to know, I'm thinking of buying into DVC, but this sounds like a real negative. I'm surprised Disney would keep it , if it's that bad.
