Any information about unavailability for 180+10 day Dining Reservation for the four popular Epcot Restuarants from November 23, 2012 to present day?

I have always loved the Epcot Le Cellier Steakhouse dining experience. I have recently found that to save a little money, I was to dine for lunch at Le Cellier Steakhouse and still order the Filet Mignon with a slightly lower cost.

But I am very disappointed that with a paid resort reservation, I am unable to make an 180 plus 10 day advance dining reservation this year for dates December 4-12, 2012 for any times of the day whether lunch nor dinner times.

My understanding is this started for anyone making a dining reservation starting on November 23, 2012.

As of December 13, 2012, whether by phone or online, no reservations are available for the Epcot Le Cellier Steakhouse, The Garden Grill, Coral Reef, or Rose and Garden Pub and Dining Restaurants.

There has been no explanation for this, only rumor that regular 180 dining reservations for these four Epcot restaurants may be allowed when the Epcot Candlelight Packages go on sale. Last year, this was on July 26th.

Many Disney enthusiasts will make a dining reservations using Disney's 180 day advance dining reservation by phone or online.

Now it seems that all those Guests that called on for November 23, 2012, and everyday until present day have had to call or go online every day to check to see if they can capture their difficult to get, and favorite restaurant.

I have noticed that the phone wait has gotten longer every day. And online there has been no availability.

I guess that I will try some different sitdown restuarants this December and maybe switch over when the Le Cellier Steakhouse reservations are made available.

I read on the Disboards that if you are staying at a DVC resort and are a member you can call MS and they can still set up ADRs at the 180+10 day mark. Others have said they've been able to do it from the walt disney world website and make their own reservations online, but they have to sign in and enter their DVC resort reservation number when requested.

The only other thing I can think of is that Disney doesn't want LeCellier to book up before they get the Candlelight Processional dates are determined.

CP dates are the same every year. Friday after Thanksgiving until the end of Dec. What they are probably doing is trying to determine how many tables they are going to hold for CP packages.

That's what I really was thinking. Thanks for clarifying it JaxFLBear. I could see that LeCellier could book up if they didn't hold back tables during December. But at the same time, hasn't Disney figured out after all these years that they use so many tables at each of the restaurants for CP?

Disney changed LeCellier to a Signature Restaurant and (I believe) removed tables to make even fewer available. Because of the limited number of tables there, it's possible (and just a guess) that they may hold back all tables for CP packages. Last year, CP packages for LeCellier were lunch only. Based on the OPs issue, I wonder if they are adding dinner back as a CP package this year.
