After visiting WDW for most of the last 20 years (including the last 11 in a row) we decided to take the plunge and purchase a resale DVC at BWV. We just passed ROFR a few days ago, sent in our cashier's check, and are looking forward to closing.

We recently moved from New England to Atlanta. One important consideration was that we'd be in driving distance to WDW. We've already made 2 trips in the last 7 months and our next is at the end of July.

Our 4 children are teenagers now (3 girls, 1 boy) but continue to enjoy trips to WDW. Our oldest has Downs Syndrome and really likes WDW. We thought this would be a great treat for her 18th birthday (November) since she'll probably live with us for the rest of our lives. We also will be celebrating our 20th anniversary in 3 months and thought this would be a great gift for each other.

Having stayed at nearly every WDW resort (still waiting for a Cabin @ Fort Wilderness and of course now there's AoA), we thought DVC would be a great way to refresh WDW for us. We've intentionally stayed away from most of the DVCs so that when we actually stay there, it will fill "new" to us.

We are looking forward to contributing to this forum!

Welcome, ParentsOfFour! Where in New England were you? I spent many years in Massachusetts. WDW is a great place to celebrate your anniversary. We've celebrated MANY there.

Welcome to the DVC News. It sounds like you really know WDW and will be a great asset here on the DVC News forum.

Congratulations on your DVC purchase of a BWV contract and I realize it's a bit premature but Welcome Home! Hope you have a wonderful time celebrating your DD's 18th BD and your anniversary too.

We spent many years in Naperville IL, Westford MA, and Glastonbury CT. Really enjoying Atlanta (no snow last winter!) and being able to drive to WDW!

First of all congrats! Second where in the ATL are you? My family and I recently returned to Gwinnett after moving all over the southeast.

And BWV is one by far one of my favorite DVC's. Luna Park slide rocks as does the Boardwalk Bakery! Have to stop by for breakfast again when we're out there in Oct.
