Where did you find a CD of the background music at AK? I think I would love that. I asked once about the music at AKV and they said that it was exclusive and that there wasn't a recording we could buy

I'm not positive, since it's been a while, but I think I bought it in Africa, at the store past the restrooms, on the way to the Railway to Rafiki's Planet Watch. The cover of the CD is dark green.

I googled around and found the AK CD on a few sites. Here it is on Amazon (most are used copies):

After hearing all the good replies about Sorcerer Radio, I just downloaded it to my iPhone. I'm looking forward to listening to the music. I didn't even know it existed until this forum. I think I'll be downloading it to my PC and my iPad, too. Thanks.

LOL I don't remember Kitchen Kabaret as well as you two do, it's pretty vague for me, especially since I never owned the tape with that music. I do know most of the songs from Food Rocks though.

Chemnerd I think Disney changes their official album fairly frequently. If you search around on Amazon.com you might find what you're looking for (or possibly on Ebay). I have an official album (That is what the name says on the box, but it's actually a CD) from 1991 that has Tomorrow's Child, Magic Journeys, the old Universe of Energy and old Figment songs, Listen to the Land (the old song from the boatride in the Land), as well as songs from Horizon and World of Motion. Some of the songs on the CD are still heard today: Canada (You're a lifetime Journey), Small World, Golden Dream (from american adventure), Yoho a Pirate's life for Me, Grim Grinning Ghosts, and a couple more. Hard to believe I have had that CD 21 years, time flies.

Thanks for the info Ma. That album sounds exactly what I'm looking for since the tape had everything you mentioned. Can you give me the name of the album? I've been trying to replace that tape for at least 10 years. We think it was still in the tape deck when we traded my mom's old car in.

New ones sure are pricey, but you can get a used one for a reasonable cost. Now I have to listen to mine again and get to know the Kitchen Kabaret songs! I have been listening mostly to homemade WDW cds and Lou Mongello tours in my car as of late.
