This is a subject near and dear to me (and to Marilyn as well!)
How many of you love to just sit at a park and soak up the background music? Do you love the parade and fireworks music? We don't realize how much music adds to the atmosphere of the parks/resorts...it blends in so perfectly.
Anyway, the reason I posted this is because I have my iPod on shuffle here at work and Impressions de France just came on, which is one of my favorite WDW music compilations. Thought Mar would appreciate it!!

I know it sounds dorky to say, and I may sound like an old fart
but most of the music I listen to is WDW music....Have on Sorcerer Radio even as I type this. (I have it on all the time that I'm online, pretty much)
I do like background music...I like the fireworks music best when it's recorded live, I love the booms of illuminations, if you know what I mean.
I have Impression de France on my IPhone too

I don't really like ads so radio stations usually leave me bored. I'll show my age, I miss the days when FM radio meant very little commercials. But we often listen to Disney music on our iPod, nano or iPad. Does anyone know if XM radio has a Disney channel? I haven't found one yet that plays Theme Park music or music from the movies. Usually they feature Disney's singers rather than the stuff I want to listen too.
Edit: Nevermind it looks like Sirius/XM has Radio Disney and that's not what I had in mind.Last edited by denlo; 05-31-2012 at 10:27 AM.

Thanks for thinking of me Meriwyn!

As you know from chat I do love to sit and listen to WDW music, especially the music played at the entrance to Epcot. Hearing Golden Dreams and so many other well known Epcot songs being played by a full orchestra is thrilling.
When I am not at WDW I have a number of homemade CDs that I listen to in my car pretty much all the time. They are full of theme park music/announcements/attractions I downloaded from various sources. Currently in my car is a non-homemade CD however. I have been listening to a CD that Lou Mongello gave me at his last WDW radio meet up. It is a tour of Adventureland, there's not lots of music on it, but the information is priceless. That CD and others are for sale or download on the wdw radio site. I am sure I'll be buying some other "lands" soon. The info is both current and historical.
And like Jen and many others I also very much enjoy Sorcerer Radio and other stations that play theme park stuff. There is one station on Live 365 that plays Haunted Mansion music and sounds. As HM is my favorite MK attraction that's always enjoyable.

Everytime we drive down to WDW, my mom and I play Disney music. We used to have a tape that had a bunch of attraction songs that don't exist anymore like Dream Flight and the Kitchen Kabaret. I wish I knew what happened to it or if they offered it on a cd.
