I stumbled across this via a link on a FB page called Imagineering Disney. It's pics of Disneyland when Walt was still there, and what those same spots look like now. I really enjoyed it and I thought others might too:

Very cool find Mar! I like the pictures that show the "then" pictures with trees no bigger than a couple feet tall and fast forward to today and those trees are towering over the buildings and in turn give a whole new look to how Main St looks.

ITA Rocco, the growth of the trees makes a huge difference. (no pun intended!)

Great link Mar'. One thing I noticed was really different was the train itself. Today it looks the cars look like box cars. And I wondered what Walt would think of a pink castle? Rocco right about the trees they really do change the photos. The second the last photo you don't even realize there is a thatched roof on one of the buildings.

Glad you enjoyed it Denise. That site is a lot of fun to click around on. Lots of "backstage" links that are awesome IMHO.

Wow Mar, thanks for the link... Great pictures! Although I have never been to DL you can definitely see the difference in the pictures. I looked around the site at other pictures too of wdw areas and wow wdw has gone through a lot of changers also.

The trees are a lot greener and the people don't look the same.

    Very cool!
I love looking at old Disneyland Pictures.

I often look at my family's Disneyland vacation pics from the 70's, and it's the Park background I always focus on.

As Disneyland gets older and older, the trees have matured, and it just gotten more & more beautiful.

I'm sure it's the same with WDW properties.

I know Blizzard Beach, for one, has become much more tropical & beautiful in it's short lifespan.
