I've never stepped foot in any of the Community Halls....I've promised myself on my upcoming Kidani trip to see what they might have for adults and do something.

A look inside the Community Hall –

Even the most avid Disney theme park fans are always looking for something new and different during their stays. *As much fun as Soarin' may be, by the 50th (or 150th) ride, the thrill isn't quite the same as it once was.*
One of the unsung diversions during a Disney Vacation Club stay is a visit to the resort Community Hall. *

Now that DS is older I see us using this more. He can go play there with one of us while DD naps.

They even have pin trading board at the Community Hall. Here are nieces and their mom, doing some pin trading at BLT while waiting for their room to be ready.

Hmmm that sounds cool!
I am graduating school july 29th and to celebrate I am going on a cruise to alaska in september then on november 10th just a little while later im going to wdw for the wine & dine half marathon. I have been thinking about what to do at wdw during the time I will be there. I was thinking about getting seasonal or annual passes to wdw during that trip but I wouldnt have enough time to break even on the ticket during that year. This gives me a reason to go to wdw and stay atleast 1 more day and have something to do while relaxing.

We only use the community hall to rent movies and I am always amazed at the lack of selection or the number of copies available - unless I am understanding the system wrong, it seems like they only have one copy of each or, very rarely, two.

We use the community halls often! They provide a good number of activities and we always go over to check and see what they have on deck when we are around. Typically, we get great advice on resort activites that might be on the schedule, but don't "shine" - - yet are FANTASTIC. I have three ceramic pieces in my kitchen window that the kids made one year at Saratoga and I love looking at them and remembering the trip.
The CH's are like a treasure trove to us of new things to do each time we go to WDW.

The CMs at the community hall are very enthusiastic and friendly. They love to discuss whatever is on your mind. And, when there are few people around, they are extra happy for the companionship. When we were at BLT last week, we found the community hall empty every time we were there and the CMs were extra chatty!
