Why is there no banner that I can find for the DVC resort at Hilton Head? Searching the internet, I found a banner for virtually every other Disney resort, but not Hilton Head. I can't be the only one who goes there!

You could contact the ticker company and request one be made.

But what I do is make my own on Mickeypath.com. I crop a photo to long and narrow and upload it to Mickeypath. It might need to be resized at Mickeypath.com too so it doesn't take up so much room.

Stitch has one, you could ask him how he made it.

Great idea for most people, but I'm afraid that it's way beyond my "computer-illiterate" knowledge. But complaining-now that I can do real well!

It would be best to do it that way and it's the way the designer requests that we do it so as not to be using her image from photobucket.

Simbasmom just needs to copy the image and save it to her desktop and then upload it to Mickeypath.com.

OK, I figured out how to save it in "my pictures", but I'm lost from there. I haven't yet figured out how to "upload to Mickeypath". Maybe when Matt gets home from the gym, he can help me out. I'll learn yet!

On Mickeypath.com there is a column that is yellow in color. In that column there is item called Photo Banner. If you click it, it has details on how to upload your photo. http://www.mickeypath.com/photo.php

I find it easier to place the photo on my desktop so it is easier to find first. After you upload the photo you can resize to make it even smaller, add your event information, and countdown ticker etc. I hope if works for you Dorothy.

Denise I have been using Mickeypath for years but somehow never noticed that link to use your own pics. Your mentioning it in this thread got me curious, and finally today I had time to play around on the site. Tada, I have a new rotating banner, both made from pics I took. Thanks so much for posting that info, always fun to find something new!
