Hope it includes a hot tub.

Oh man, the three mk hotels are crazy sellers! I was still wondering how much the vgf are going to cost.

Here is a link to Steve's (aka Tikiman) page regarding the Poly DVC. Thanks Presley!

Ok...having read the article... I don't see anything that confirms a DVC resort IS going to happen. I have no doubt DVC isn't exploring the possibility, but that's only to be expected.

There's no official confirmation, I agree. But I have known Steve/Tikiman and his Poly website for over ten years, he truly is the King Of All Things Polynesian. If he says it's in the works I believe him, as he is privy to a lot of inside information.

Hi, everyone, hope all is well. Life has been busy, been lurking but had a few min and thought I would the 2c in.

I think, if the GF goes well then the poly could be next. The GF is a small new building, and if that goes well they could do it for the poly. Gf is a trial, can DVC do a small building/project. Up till nw everything has been BIG on the building scale. SS, OKW were huge resorts. The exception of VWL, the smaller building as part of a current resort may be a concept the the future of DVC. It worked in the past. Plus it is cheaper to build and operate, charge the same price per point, and you have more $$ in the profit column.

Now I need to know, do we get first swipe at new resorts before they go on public sale?

Okay, even though I'm the odd one out on this Poly DVC love fest, I have to say - Enough! As an owner at both SSR & VGC, I'd REALLY like to see them address the horrible DVC supply we have out here on the west coast rather than yet another WDW DVC... After all, what is this, 18? 42? Is there a non-value resort in WDW that either doesn't already have a DVC or a half dozen rumors of when the DVC groundbreaking will be? (end sarcasm) But seriously, It would be nice to get some west coast love (Hawaii doesn't count - almost $2K to fly from San Fransisco) before hearing about yet another WDW expansion. How about a limit of 3 WDW expansions between DLR expansions?

I do agree that DL lacks DVC options. From what I've heard, as I've yet to go, is there is a lack of space to put more stuff whether it be park expansions or more resorts. Also i've heard that unless you own in VGC it's very hard to get a room at the 7 month.

I can vouch for that. I tried to get a studio room at the Grand Californian for Dec 1st and it was impossible. Every day I try the 7-month window and nothing is available for 4 days - sometimes 1 or 2 days are but not the stay we want.
