I don't think I would ever sell to buy again. I might add on but with costs being so much higher I wouldn't sell my current ones to do it. I am pretty happy with our home resorts and I can't see us adding on at this point. It has crossed my mind to sell it outright and use that money to do other things though.

I am getting very fustrated when the 7 month window comes around and I try to book another resort and nothing but Saratoga is available. So you get on a waiting list but when you travel with family who also want to stay at the same resort you take your chances. One family might get it and one might not. This is not what I was told when I signed up for DVC. So we are thinking of selling some points to get some points at BWV. We currently have WL. very disappointed with DVC lately.

We did few years back before the recession and change in resales. We sold SSR and BCV to buy at AKL when first offered. We also then sold more SSR and WLV to buy at OKW for the ability to get a GV at 11 mos there. We were fortunate that we sold our "old" points for more than we bought for (except one SSR contract) and were actually able to buy more points at OKW than we sold for same price. We were also selling smaller add ons to buy larger contracts back. We have never regretted that for a second, but don't think we would change them around again. The only thing we are looking at now is adding on more at BWV
