Updating Test Track

There was a article on the Disney Parks Blog that shows, art renderings of the new concept changes to be made on Test Track. Link

When complete, the reimagining of this attraction will allow guests to design their own custom concept vehicle, and then put it through its paces on the exhilarating hills and switchbacks of the Test Track circuit. In the post-show, guests can make a TV commercial featuring their concept car or truck, race their car or truck on our virtual track and take a picture with their custom concept vehicle.
The attraction is currently scheduled to reopen late fall.

It looks like Test Track will continue to be sponsored by Chevrolet. The drawings make it look like Chevrolet is looking in to the future in a Tron sort of coloring. It looks good to me.

I believe they have officially come out and said that the reopening is set for Dec. 1st. I'll have to find the article where I saw that but I'm positive the date was Dec. 1st because I remember thinking that it was 2 weeks before we arrive on Dec. 15th.

Hope they make it go faster - if they think 62 is fast the immagneers are stuck in traffic way too often - which I can understand around Orlando.

LOL yeah when there isn't traffic I drive faster then that to get to work everyday.

True story. As long as there is no traffic the NJT is like the Autobahn. I blew by a trooper doing 75 once and swore I'd get a ticket coz I have Ct plates. Nope don't even think he looked up.

I'm excited about this.
IMO, Test Track has needed a bit of refreshing, and I'm a big fan of the "Tron" look.

Wish it would be open for our end of September(BCV) trip, but I guess we will have to wait until the January(BLT) trip .
