According to the CMs on the Kilamanjaro Safari ride, today was to be Little Red's last day. They were very sad. You know, we guests may see things differently, but they often miss what's leaving. They were planning a party in Little Red's honor tonight. Unfortunately I wasn't able to see the new changes, but I'm glad to have ridden with the Little Red storyline one last time and get a CMs perspective on the change. RIP Little Red!

Glad to have ridden the Kilimanjaro Safaris as the attraction was originally constructed. Curious as to what the new story line will be.

I wonder if they're reuse him in another place at the park. Disney's pretty good about reusing animatronics.

Little Red always made me smile, although he would be more appropriate found on the Jungle Cruise since real animals are the feature of KS. But I think they still need to make the exit fun and exciting like we had chasing poachers. It turned from a sedate attraction to a feature. I expect the imagineers will come up with something.

Thanks for the reminder Dorothy. I wish I had been there to see it one more time too.

I remember reading that the Little Red area will be turned into a Zebra habitat as they are hardly ever seen on the Safari.

I remember the last 3 - 4 minutes of that ride flying through a rocky area looking for the poachers, I wouldn't think that ALL of that will be zebras. I wonder If they'll do anything with the rest of the area.

It relatively a small space, only the last couple minutes of the ride. Only time will tell, but here is the Blog post that I read a while back...
