We just added on 120 points and the contract with Disney included a disclaimer along the lines that purchase of these points MAY not entitle you to stay at GF. So wonder if there is a marketing ploy under consideration about the exclusiveness of points at GF.

I think that is just a legal CYA thing in case GFV doesn't happen (becomes a cash hotel instead of DVC, construction goes horribly wrong & what was started is canceled & torn down...), not a marketing ploy. Similar language has been included before when announced but incomplete projects existed during a purchase.

To further that idea when we signed on they had a whole disclaimer that their is no intentions of extending the monorail line and we had to sign that we understood that.
