You are welcome for the pics
We had such a good time at Aulani that my kids wanted to "move to Hawaii" and didn't want to leave

Here are a couple bonus pics of the resort view from our balcony in a "Tilt Shift" mode, which makes it look like a miniature model:

Cool tilt shifts! Was that done with a physical TS lens, a camera setting, or external software after downloading them?

It was software based, off a program I had on my iPad (yes the photo was taken from iPad).
My other photos were from a Sony HX100V.

What room category/view was your room considered?
    (standard/island/pool/ocean)

What room # did you have?

Been trying to get a resort map of the room views, but I keep
getting told that there isn't one from the resort and DVC.

    Great pics...thanks.

On another thread, Plasmo posted that he was in Villa 752, an Ocean View villa.

Here are diagrams of the Aulani villas by location, accommodation type and view category: http://dvcnews.com/forum/showthread....llas-amp-Views. Plasmo posted some more photos of his villa and view on that thread.

Hope this helps answer some of your questions.

P.S. - Welcome to the Forum! Don't hesitate to ask more questions if you have them.

Yes, as @wdrl said above we were in room 752 - 1 bedroom Oceanview. It was perfect for family of 4.
On a side note, I also booked (for a friend's family who were travelling with us) a Studio Garden View (Room 205 in the other building) while we were there as well. Their view was a view of the neighboring hotel... it was nice but much smaller and did not have a kitchen. Unfortunately, i did not take photos of their room.

If anyone is interested, I have 100+ photos of general Aulani photos that I can share in a Dropbox folder. Just PM me your email address, and I'll get you a link that you can access via your email.
