25 years ago, the first Disney Store opened in Glendale, California. Today they are celebrating by giving out Mickey ears at their stores to the first couple hundred customers. I hope to be among them!

did you ever get a pair of ears?
When I started working for the stores in Sept 1996, they were getting ready to celebrate their 10th anniversary. I still have the special cel they sold to cast members for that anniversary. the store I originally worked at (which is now closed) opened in 1992. the next store I worked at opened in 1990 I believe. That store is still at The Court in King of Prussia, PA. The manager I was hired by in 1996 is still there - we both transferred there in 1998.
