Sat., 4/13

I was traveling from PA and meeting "the kids" who were traveling from Seattle. Arrived at VGC around noon and checked in but villa was not ready yet. Decided to check my bags and explore Downtown Disney. Loved the convenience of walking out the door into the midst of DTD! Since I had a grocery order from Von's to be delivered, I went back after about an hour and hung around the fabulous lobby and watched all the activity. Got the text around 4:00 that the room was ready -- 6th fl., Villa 6500. I had requested a high floor with a WOC view and was not disappointed. I had read about the door (which was right next to us) that leads to the balcony for WOC public viewing banging and that turned out to be true. My DD & SIL had trouble sleeping as well as all the activity going on in the parks after hours. I think they might be light sleepers since I didn't hear a sound:confused24:!

As mentioned earlier, I was expecting a grocery order and it was delivered, no text, nothing. I had ordered a couple bottles of wine and expected I would have to sign for them but they just did not deliver them (however they did charge me) and there was no local # to call only an 800# which is the Safeway customer service #. The rep. was finally able to contact someone at Von's and my CC was credited.
