Trouble Logging on from MacBook

Anyone else having trouble logging in? I keep getting this error: Fatal error: Call to a member function query_write() on a non-object in*/home/dvcnews/public_html/forum/includes/functions_login.php*on line*131

There is a note about it at the top of the forum visible to those who are not logged in. I am aware of the problem.

Log into the site from the DVCNews.com home page and then click over to the forums.

It wasn't a Mac issue. Both Mac and PC users were impacted, regardless of browser used (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.) The problem was caused by a buggy software upgrade that was applied late last week. Took me 3 or 4 days to track down the problem and fix it. All is well now.
