Just caught this over at wdwnewstoday, an article in Brazil is starting the rumor mill that it will be the newest addition to EPCOT, do you believe it or will it just be another rumor?

Translation: Brazil got a great seat at an International forum with Disney. Representatives of the largest complex of theme parks in the world sought the federal government this week to announce that are going to install a pavilion of Brazil at Epcot in Orlando.

No idea of course if this is true or false, but any addition to WS would be welcome. Always fun to see/do something new, and I have come to realize that Epcot is my favorite park.

While on our trip in Jan. 2011 I think there were more people from Brazil then the US, so they should put Brazil in Epcot and maybe they we come on other times of the year other then Jan., do ya think? I will pass on Disney World FL in Jan. in the future. Hope Sept./Oct. is better!

I was there as well. Unless I ran into the tour groups head on, which I did a couple times, the crowds overall where real light IMHO.

Sounds good to me. Afterall this is the country that brought us Alessandra Ambrosio, Ana Beatriz Barros, Ana Hickman, and Gisele Bündchen among others.

Maybe they can also plan a pavillion at Typhoon Lagoon.

I never heard of any of those women, but after googling I understand your post Tom, LOL. How in the world are you so well versed on Brazilian models? :scratchchin:

A few years ago I spent two weeks in Brazil. So, in planning the trip, one must look into things, right? The boss said it was also important to understand, among other things, this beautiful country's 'exports' so, well, ummm, I did some research.

Let it never be said that you did not follow your boss's orders! :D

I wish I spoke/read Portuguese, evidently "Folha", a Sao Paulo newspaper is reporting Brazil has been asked to join because of the number of Brazilian tourists to WDW.

Funny last year the rumor was Spain, now Brazil. I think it would nice to have another country in the WS. But Disney always wants either a governmental or corporate sponsor to build and maintain a country so I'm not sure the economy is conducive to expansion.

Brazil has a fairly robust economy.
