Myself included, I know a lot of people were not too fond of the Tiki Room's New Management theme. Well it looks like Iago & Zazu are out!

Blurb from StitchKingdom.com:
Lastly, and music to your ears, we are certain, we have been sitting on reports that when it re-opens, the Enchanted Tiki Room will no longer be under new management and will instead be returned to its original glory. Perhaps even more gratifying to many, sources have told us that Iago will find himself relocated to an Audio Animatronics graveyard located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom where he will become fodder for Imagineers looking to hone their skills. The attraction currently has no known re-opening date, although it’s assumed to be July 1, 2011 at this time as the official site has it listed as closed through June 30.

Very good news. Looks like we to try out the new Star Tours in DHS, the new/old Tiki at MK and the new churro cart in Epcot when we go in August.

Clearly I'm in the minority but I liked the new management version as well as the original. I also like it when DL & WDW have differences to their attractions- it makes going to both parks more fun for me to see a different twist on a favorite! Naturally I'll still give it a spin whatever the Tiki gods have in store when I'm @ MK with it open though...

Does anyone think it has to do with getting Gilbert Godfreid out? Wasn't he the voice of one of the birds in the New Management? Then he said some rather offensive things about the Japanese Tsunami and got fired as the Aflaak duck. I'm not too sure of the details, but there was some speculation after that that Disney might dump him. Can someone enlighten me?
