I thought it'd be fun to start a thread on what costume you're wearing to MNSSHP. So here we go! I am going to be Jessie from Toy Story (albeit a VERY old Jessie) and my DD is going to be Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas.

What are you wearing? Even though this is a WDW thread feel free to post if you're going to the Halloween party at DL. :goodvibes:

This will be our first MNSSHP so DH (wdrl) and I will be wearing regular clothes. We hope to buy an MNSSHP t-shirt during the the evening. Can't wait to hear what other costumes people will wear.

I'm going to MHP @ DL on my BD, Oct. 19th. We are heading in straight from dinner @ Nappa Rose, and I plan to wear a polo shirt I bought that has Bolt embroidered on it and either shorts or jeans... :eating: Had the new shirt made from DisneyStore.com 'cause I thought it'd be fun as part of a BD present to me. ;) I am tossing around going in costume in Sept. 2011 if we go to MNSSHP w/ some friends of ours as tentatively planned.

The Sebelski/Enri team is once again wearing halloween tshirts. New design, though. Here's the design that one won our vote!

I have no doubt your DD will be a MUCH cuter Jessie than me. I hope you post pics of your family in costumes.

Did you or Tom draw the shirt design Pam? Or is it ready made as an applique? It's really cool looking, can't wait to see you all in your matching shirts on 10/7!

Mar, it's a design that I'll put on an iron-on transfer. We did the same thing last year (with a different design, of course). Man, did we get lots and lots of comments. I couldn't keep track of the number of people who asked where we bought our shirts. Kinda cool!:D

I think all four of us were joking that Pam should have set up a booth out in the parking lot to sell them. Even the CMs were commenting on them.
But it made it hard to retrace your steps through the candy line as we had more than one CM say, "Hey, I have already been booed tonight".

I'll be thinking of you and wishing I could be there.

My costume is easy, every year for Halloween I dress just like Pooh.

When we went, last year, I went as a soccer official (I'm one in real life), DW went as a witch, and DD didn't go as anything. Had one of those days where she didn't want to get dressed up and we didn't push her because we didn't want to ruin the evening.

I want to go again but the one time we went I went as a Gryffindor school girl. DH didn't dress up. DD was an East High cheerleader. (Go Wildcats!)

Wish I were going this year. We'll definitely do it again just not sure when. 2012 at the earliest.

What a cool costume idea. Did you wear the school robes with a striped scarf?

I brought my robes and scarf but it was too hot. So I ended up being a casual student with my sweater tied around my waist. Still had my tie on though.

I'm thinking about wearing a robe, slippers, and curlers. I guess it sort of depends on the weather. I could always go with our OSU fan apparel--buckeye necklaces, jerseys, hats. It never ceases to amaze me how many people at WDW are wearing OSU stuff. Anyhoo...DDs are gonna wear old dance costumes. DD11 will be a funky go-go dancer with green hair. Not sure about DD7. She changes her mind daily.

Update for me: I'm still not planning on a costume for MHP this Oct., but I'm seriously considering trying to do a pseudo Jedi Mickey (robes & ears) for MNSSHP in Sept. 2011. My friend's wife agreed to yesterday to help make me the costume; she has made some really cool Halloween stuff for him over the years. We are hoping to take that 2011 trip w/ them so that seems a fitting time for me to wear my first costume to the World. :silly:

Sounds super Craig, can't wait to see those pictures. :darthvader: Is DW going to wear a costume as well?

I just asked her, and her answer was "Probably not." without much enthusiasm... She tends to NOT want to attract much attention to herself. I probably get more than enough funny looks and such directed at me and therefore her vaciniety anyway. ;)
