Thanks for the article. I love seeing photos of Aulani. BTW, has an official three code been given to Aulani?
My DH, wdrl, is busy reading the POS for Aulani. It took awhile but we finally got a copy from the DVC. It has a lot of extra information in it that was not available in our POSs from AKV and BLT, including the view for a unit, and the number of points allotted to the unit. And for those of you that don't know, a unit usually represents multiple DVC villas. Wdrl had to really work on his AKV, THV and BLT threads on the DisBoards to get the number points allotted to a unit.

The one I'm currently using (and that is in the acronym decoder (http://dvcnews.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1876) on this site :D) is AVH = Aulani Villas Hawaii {excerpted from their full name of "Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas, Ko Olina, Hawai`i"}

It sounds good, but I like KOA, Ko Olina, Aulani. And it also is the name of the Hawaii wood use to carve the Mickey and surfboard lamps in the villas. It's a sacred wood for the Hawaiians and I like to think we would be honoring them as well as recognizing Aulani.
Although I until I hear there is an official code, I'll just use the name Aulani.
