Does anyone know how many founding members each resort has? Also is it always 160 point buy to be one?
Thanks

For BLT I think it was the first thousand existing members to add-on 160+ points.
At VGC, I thought they added the requirement of having purchased your initial / master DVC contract from the DL sales center as well as 160+ points. Anyone know of a "founder" there that didn't originally buy from a DL guide? I don't recall hearing any headcount limit though.
No idea about other resorts...

We are Founding Members and did get the artwork... We purchased a SSR contract over 160 points but our sale had to run through the DL sales office b/c we live in California. We later added on the minimum at VGC when sales opened up in January and were founding members. I think I remember hearing that there are only 1,000 or under Founding Members... Bummed that I didn't get the VGC pin when it first became avail in Sept. We were back a month later and all sold out :(

We bought 160 points at BLT last December while at Disneyland because our guide told us that would make us California Founding Members and give us first crack at buying into VGC. We did!:yahoo:
Yes, we got the art work. Imagine my surprise arriving home from work to find a rather large package in my living room. Still trying to figure out where we're going to hang it.

My living room is available if you get stuck. ;) I'll even pay shipping to my place, and take a picture for you post installation! :rotfl2:

I really appreciate the offer, but I think I'll find a place to put it.
I thought about taking it down with us in Feb, and setting it up somewhere in the villa while we were there, but then the car isn't big enough for that and all the luggage. :oweye:

No need to do this. When we stayed in our 1 bedroom in September, this exact piece of artwork was hanging over the sofa!
