Has anyone seen just the DVD by itself? I don't want to pay $29.99 for DVD/BluRay combo when I do not (and have no plans to) own a BluRay player. I guess I am cheaping out, but it stinks! :( Is this how all the new movies will be released for now on? :confused24:

According to Amazon the DVD only version isn't coming out until November:

FWIW, right now many places have the BluRay combo priced in the same neighborhood as the DVD version will ultimately be. Amazon and Walmart both have the combo for under $20.

And if you happen to have an old DVD or VHS copy of Snow White, you can use this Disney website to get a coupon for $10 off.

You'll get the film about 6 weeks earlier than waiting for the standard DVD, and that BluRay may come in handy someday.

I'm not jumping on the blue ray train. In fact I think it has limited shelf life as more and more folks have access to simply download hi-def movies.
