Waitlist support?

OK, DH has totally messed up all the plans I made for our SWW in June. We had a 1 BR reserved at OKW but needed to upgrade to a 2BR. I was able to get 3 out of 4 nights. I am currently on the waitlist for 1 night (Sunday) for the 2 BR. The CM at MS told me I should cancel the entire 1 BR reservation so we currently have no room for that last night.

Can anyone spare some pixie-dust for that one night? Otherwise, you might be hearing reports of a family sleeping in the OKW lobby. :rolleye11:

You deserve it my friend! But if all else fails, I happen to know the couch in the OKW library is very comfy. ;) Especially if you have been at the Suitcase for over 2 hours.

Good question Laura, Stimparoo did you inquire about 2BRs elswhere just in case? Like Laura said you should be fine, but I think being roomless would put a tad of a damper on the trip. You might even want to book two values or 2 mods for the last night as a precaution. You\'ll get your deposit back if you cancel within 5 days. But then I am the paranoid control freak from hell when it comes to WDW vacations, I don\'t think I could sleep at night if I was roomless only two months out. So you might just want to totally ignore me. :leaving: :tomato:

When the CM said to cancel the 1BR that you had, were you given a reason? That advice puzzles me.

I thought it was dumb advice too, but for some reason, I was really paying attention and did it. As soon as I got off the phone I realized what I did :scared: She did tell me we could stay in the 1 BR we had with 5 people before she checked availibility for 2 BR.

Lesson learned....never call MS with 1000 things on your mind :rolleye11: I\'ll be checking the dvc site daily for that last night. If not, hopefully AP rates for that time will come out soon.

Still waiting for that last night to come through. I\'ve been getting some strange CM\'s at MS lately. I called Saturday to move the reservation so I didn\'t have to waitlist anymore and the CM actually talked me into waiting a few days more?? I\'ve never had that happen. So I\'m still waiting and checking the site for that 1 dern night! :popcorn:
