I'm trying to decide whether to go to Conservation Station in AK on our up coming trip. I went once and only remember a slow train ride and a foul odor. :blech: Is Conservation Station worth our time? :confused24:

and only remember ...... a foul odor. :blech:
What's the odds of that same person being on the train again.
We probably do CS every other or 3rd trip. We really enjoy the rainforest "soundbooth". Some interesting displays. Now you can even pick out your next Yak and Yetti entree at the petting zoo.
Give it another shot.

We really enjoyed it - there were 5 different characters there (Jiminy Cricket, Pocohontas, the gorilla from Tarzan, and two more I can't remember at the moment). They were doing a surgery on a small animal, had a snake and a lizard out for the kids to handle, and there were CM's all over the place answering questions.
The walk from the train to the building is so pleasant in the late afternoon. We went LATE - and were able to catch the last train at 5pm (right as the park was closing) so extended our park time a tiny bit! Last train of the day, the CM's were pretty funny - joking around with each other and those of us waiting to leave.
It was definately worth the time.

The first time I went (when it first opened) I was reaIIy excited and found it somewhat disappointing.
the second time I didn't expect much and thought it was fun.
Maybe I'II have to give it another shot upcoming trip.
Maybe they need to serve :biggulp:
