Went last night with DD14. Loved it. An interesting approach to the book with the greater emphasis on the characters relationships than on Voldermort. Very well directed as usual. The special effects were fabulous, especially how they transformed the memories into images with the "black ink" swirling into various scenes.

I'm actually walking out the door right now to go see it again.
Agree with you Stich, the memories segments were brilliantly done.
This might be the best of them so far, and really sets up the final two-parter. I already can't wait!

I'll probably see it twice as well, since DS will want to go and he's at camp this week.

It's been a few years since I read the book so DD and I had to really wrack our brains to remember a few things and a few characters. Let me know if the 2nd time offers any other insights.

I just got back! Mom & I loved it!!!! Yes, okay they omited some things but nothing that was too horrible. I know that they didn't have the furneral but I thought the lighting of the wands was plenty! No need to dwell on the what was already very sad. They still got the point across. Love Tom & Alan in this film. REALLY GOOD proformances! See it and just enjoy!
