We are thinking about going to Paris next year with the girls. Anyone been to Disney Paris? Any recommendations about a disney hotel? How many days to really enjoy the park would we need? Any help would be great!

I've been there twice.
As for hotel, it depends on what your budget is. The Disneyland Hotel is right at the park entrance. And if you get concierge level, you get a non-collectible FastPass for any attractions that use FastPass. At least that's the way it was in 2005. The other time I stayed at the Newport Bay Club. I think the next time I go I'll stay at the Sequoia Lodge. It looks the most like VWL.

My husband and I had our honeymoon in Paris in 2007. Of course we had to take the train out to do a day at Disney. I personally would have liked two days, one per park. (We had to do both in just one day.) We were there in late September.
At the Magic Kingdom, I think we maybe had to wait five minutes for the most popular rides. Now, Hollywood Studios was a different story. It was packed. Part of the problem might have been that Tower of Terror was under construction and the construction barriers really messed with traffic flow.
We were staying in Paris, so I can't give you any recs on a hotel right around the parks. I will tell you that we were thrilled that the train from Paris stops literally at the gates to the parks.
I will say, the parks don't quite have that magic of Disney World for me. The cast members are more on the wavelength of Six Flags employees in my mind rather than working for the Mouse. (And I have nothing against the French, I think it is just a different atmosphere there.) Little things are different, like the Rockin' Roller Coaster has the lights on and no music plays.
That being said, on our next trip to Paris, I will definitely be going back. Be sure to ride Crush's Coaster at Hollywood Studios. It is a fabulous ride, I wish they would bring it over here!

Wouldn't that leave a big empty lot in their park ?

I suppose so, but then again they have the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. I'd call it even. ;)
