OK, it’s been a while, but I finally got my pix uploaded to photobucket so I could write a report.
Checked in at BCV Friday around 12 and room was ready. Lol, we had just spent 10 minutes rearranging bags so that we could give them to bell services and head out, bit no need. Cool.

Friday to Sunday were mostly marathon activities. Did have a great carb-load session at Ghirardelli’s Friday night with lllovell, withdisneyspirit, DennyHa and spouses. Very fun! Lost my camera there, though, so my pix start with Sunday after buying disposables. Losing my camera (and yes I spoke with everyone possible lost and found several times) took a little magic away, but it was still Disney World!

Marathon itself was odd. Very slow, but consistent. Ran into a good friend who was hurting with 3 miles to go, so we walked in with her. First time I actually enjoyed the last 3 miles! Met up with another friend’s dh and we all had a cool finish line shot. ;)

Waited ‘til the last finishers came in and headed for BCV, just before a rain storm.

Had dinner at Jiko’s with mom and dad. Mom is not a buffet person, so Boma was out. Jiko was perfect after a crazy weekend. So relaxing. Hot towels…ahhhhh…. Pricey, but food and service was great. Watching the savannah before dinner was great too. I really like AKL. Almost surprised how much. Seems a bit out of the way, but that’s the only down side I could find. Not that I look for these things.

Monday was BW Bakery for a last WISH meet and them off to AK with mom and dad. Loved having a riding buddy for Everest (Dad)! Dh convinced my mom to come with for the pre-ride stuff. I know she was sure he was trying to get her on the ride and didn’t really realx until they were on their way to the exit. She obviously does not know dh well. ;)

Mom and dad had not seen FoTLK or Nemo. Liked them both, but Nemo was warm and after lunch. 4 for 4 for sleeping.
Went to MK for diner at the plaza. Love that place. Simple food, but the best milk shakes in the world. We always go without ADRs and get a table by the kitchen. No big deal. We had one by the window, though. Castle was lit up and beautiful. Very nice. MK was packed because it was Spectro. Mom loves Spectro, though. Watched WISHes from the Rose garden. Always heard to do it, but never did. SO glad we did! We were frozen an exhausted after WISHes. You know, 85 degree days for the marathon and half, 50 and under most of the rest of the trip. 

Tuesday was a big day. Fort Wilderness Segway tour! Went to MK for a bit of breakfast and tehn off to FW.

Check out the \"Great White Cranes\" in teh background. lol.

Loved the tour! Being a loud-mouth about how I love the Segway and how anyone could do them, trying to be encouraging, I of course had to catch a tire and throw myself off parking at the end. Ugh. Well, I was wondering how I would tear myself off. Guess I got my answer.

Back to MK, after a stop for gloves and a snck. 40 degrees. Bummer.

MK was empty. Saw some things I’d never noticed before. Too much commando.

During the FW tour, we were told that there’s a hidden Walt on every float for the 3 o’clock parade and the easiest one to pick out was on this one.

Anyone heard that or found one? We watched twice. Nothing.

Wednesday was Epcot. And Illuminations. Seemed like they changed Illuminations slightly. Loved it as always.

Thursday was our typical last day, cram it in session. AK for the safari that we missed Monday. Did EE again. Woo hoo!

Then, off to MK. And finished at Epcot. Almost forgot to do SE. Like the new format and the interactive part at the end was cool.

One more Illuminations and then back to BCV and home in the am. :( Helps so much to have another trip on the books before you leave, though. ;)

Thats ok Carrie that your trippie was a bit late- it was worth the wait! :goodvibes:

I really admire you that you do the marathon- I am sure the only time I will see the finish line is when you post the pics! :rotfl2:

Congrats to you my friend! Nice report and love the pics! :)

Thanks for sharing Carrie.

And belated congrats on completing (another) marathon.

I never heard about the hidden Walt\'s. Sounds neat, one more thing to look for next time.

Super report and pics Carrie! And no, I hadn\'t heard about the hidden walts on the floats in the parade at the MK--but now I am going to be on the lookout for them for sure!

Thanks for sharing! (and thanks for taking a while to post it--makes me feel less guilty about not finishing my report from 3 weeks ago yet). :goodvibes:

Leave out all that running stuff and it sounds like you had a great trip.

Illum is different: The 63rd shell used to arc left to right but they rotated the WS just enough that now it arcs right to left, slightly port of center.

You know I thought something was different. Thanks for clearing that up.

Actually, we didn\'t remeber fireworks coming out from teh torch before. Maybe we just didn\'t notice. Missed teh 63rd shell though.:P
