This is one of them "seasonal" restaurants that we always hit when it was open. The menu was exactly what you expected it to be; Mexican.
Apparently it is now open and this is the menu:
Cheeseburger - served with apple slices or potato chips $6.59
BBQ Pork Sandwich - served with apple slices or potato chips $6.59
Caesar Salad with Chicken $7.19
What happened to theme and story ?
Why bother.
Just turn the place into a pin trading, DVC sales booth.
Better yet, we could probably use another meet-n-greet location.

Unlike you Ken, we never, ever made a trip when this was opened.

Ugh, bummer. Besides the cuisine making no sense theme-wise, it sure is limited in choices. :(

El Pirata (which I love) is at WDW. DLR has a similar (though, IMO, larger) restaurant, Rancho del Zocalo, which is also good--though it actually serves Tex-Mex food.I love the music played at El Pirata, though.

I thought I read somewhere that the menu offerings @ El Pirata y el Perico were temporary because they are rehabing Pecos Bill? Then they will go back to their regular menu...Whenever they are open:confused: I think the only time I have eaten there in recent memory was during the P & P Party in 3/07.

Not saying that the noodle station IS good, but I'm just curious to know, Viking, if there are any restaurants left on property you DO like? :poke: :D

When we were down in Jan. El Pirate y el Perico was open with this menu as Pecos Bill is under refurb. I would hope that when Peco is came back online Perico will revert back to its original.

I was thinking the SAME thing. It is :viking: after all, so not sharing seems to be in character...
DW mentioned trying Noodle Station once.
I'd like to try more places, the problem is that there are so many favs that i want to do again it's getting harder and harder to sort out those conflicts!!! :oweye:

I agree with KNVVIKING. Unfortunately, I did try the noodle station on one of my trips in the past couple of years and it was very disappointing.

WOW! I am surprised at the changes there. I'm glad we got to try the Mexican fare before it switched over. We didn't care for it much but at least we tried. They should have kept with the story and theme.
