Hi
We will be at Beach Club and Wilderness Villas in August during my daughters 13th birthday. I have emailed about her free Park Pass
but am looking for other birthday ideas. Maybe a spa treatment at Saratoga? Dinner watching fireworks at California Grill? What else will make her golden birthday special? ( 13 on Aug. 13)

I thought golden was a 50th designation ?

Typical male comment.

Your golden birthday is when you turn the same as as the date you were born.

I was born on the 26th, so when I turn 26 ( :poke:) that will be my "golden" birthday.

well there ya go. Since I didn't know about this I couldn't celebrate my golden birthday. Therefore, I will be celebrating my 28th birthday on June 28!

I think a spa treatment would be great! My 13 yo cousin is all about primping. The manis/pedis are less expensive than some of the more traditional massages, and she would probably enjoy them more. Or maybe a facial. I know at GF, the spa had reduced price treatments for kids, but I don't remember if it was for 12 and under or 13 and under (but I think the former).

If you really want to splurge, how about a fireworks cruise?
