? re when I can call to extend stay

At 7 months, I want to call and extend my stay 1 more day. At 11 months I called and booked October 16-22. Now I want to add the night of October 22, checking out the 23rd. When can I call for that? Will it be 7 months before October 23 (March 23), or is it 7 months before October 16th, since I can book 7 days from my check-in date (but is that only if it's in one call?) As you can see, I'm somewhat confused. But since the night is at BCV (as the other 6 days are), I'm really anxious to call as soon as possible. I mean, 7 months for a studio at BCV...slim chance, I know, but the sooner, the better.

I'm guessing your using your OKW points to book BCV. I would call on March 16 to see if you can use your OKW points to extend your stay, but most likely they will request you call back on March 22 or 23.

They MIGHT let you do it on the 16th.

Under the new rule, you are supposed to be able to book up to 7 nights following your arrival. And I've heard of people wanting longer reservations (8 or more nights) being able to add one night at a time from there.

For example, people are calling 11/7 months out to book the 5th to the 11th (7 nights.) Then on the 6th the can call and add another night to the reservations (the night of the 12th.)

So it's almost an 11+7 situation--that's 11 months plus 7 days. Or 7 mos + 7 days.

Another way to look at it--if another member is calling 7 months out from October 16th to book their entire trip at a non-home resort, they would let the member book up to 10/22. So why shouldn't they allow you to add just one night to the end of an existing reservation beginning on the same date?

I'd give it a try. Let us know what happens!

Yup, you're exactly right-I'll be using OKW points at 7 months. And Thanks-you've given me hope for getting a BCV studio. Last year I was so nervous-I had to go on the wait list at 7 months for that last night (I think I called at the later date, rather than trying earlier and letting them tell me "No"). Then the waitlist kept me waiting until 9 days beforehand.
