Are you getting annoying Timeshare calls?

Is anyone else getting annoying calls to sell your DVC? For about the past month, I have been getting called from at least 2 different companies. This really confuses me since I am on the do not call list. One of the calls was a real person, so I told them not to call me again but the other calls are automated.

Sorry guys but I need to vent.

I know that our ownerships are a matter of public record, but that seems like a lot of work for a phone number or two for maybeeeee 1 nibble (out of however many calls they make).

Sorry you are getting bothered Donald. I hate solicitations and automated ones REALLY peeve me. I get about 10 a week at work. (times 3 sets of lines)

We're on the "do not call (https://www.donotcall.gov/)" list. But we were getting postcards to sell our DVC. I finally contacted the company sending them and got us removed from the list.

I guess timeshares are an easy dump when you are strapped. Hubby has been going through the mail lately, so I will have to ask if we are getting any unsolicited offers.

Don't think I have ever gotten a phone call.

We have gotten a few mailers from other timeshares (Marriott rings a bell) with the typical "cheap stay if you sit thru a presentation" offer. But honestly it's been a couple years since I remember even getting one of those.

I think that the rest of you are making me feel better that you aren't getting any calls. :rotfl2: I think that means that it wasn't DVC that sold our cotact info.
