Hi everyone! I am less than 2 weeks away from the first stays at BWV and BCV. For breakfast, I prefer to eat before I get to the park and I would rather not have a sit down meal. I tend to eat danish, bagels, etc. (Really healthy! :rotfl2:) So, what are my options at BWV and BCV?

If you don't want to leave the resort you can go to the Bellvue lounge at BWV for a limited selection of pastries in the morning.

If you want more choices you can walk over to Boardwalk Bakery, it's right there on the Boardwalk. The pastries from Belvue come from the bakery, but you have a lot more to choose from when you actually go to the bakery. I get my breakfast from there most every morning of my vacation, there's a lot of variety and every single thing is delicious. Baked right on the premises too! Here's a link to the menu (from allears.net):

BCV has a place called Beach Club Marketplace for "grab and go" type eating. The only thing I have personally experienced was a really yummy sandwich for lunch, so perhaps someone else can chime in with the low down on breakfast foods. But here's the menu if you want to check it out:

Only two more weeks? You must be getting psyched! :woohoodance:

The Boardwalk Bakery sounds great! That sounds like a plan for BWV.

Now I just need a plan for BCV. And no, I don't think that I am going to want to walk over to BW for breakfast. :)

One of the prime things that made us fall in love with BWV was the Bellvue Lounge. Great baked goods, good coffee, very comfy chairs, and great music.
I ate there every morning of our last trip.

The Beach Club Marketplace is very convenient to BCV. They have baked goods (as nice a selection as BW Bakery IMO). Other things include berry and yogurt parfaits made to order and egg and cheese croissants with or without ham.

Have a fantastic vacation!

Plus, the Beach Club Marketplace has gelato! (which, you may not want for breakfast, but it is very affordable and great for a light dessert)

You may want a sample of one of the gelatos for breakfast, however.

Let's see. Solo trip, Disney, hmmm, gelato may just be a breakfast food!

Boardwalk Bakery and Marketplace both have good, healthy grab and go type of food choices. Spoodles is great for a table service meal and Cape May Cafe has a good buffet.

We also enjoy going over to the Dolphin's cafeteria for a good, inexpensive breakfast. Plus, you can get a DVC discount there.

Are you saying gelato is not healthy food? :silly:

Captain's Grill (formerly Yacht Club Galley) is another good choice when staying at BCV. There's an a la carte menu as well as a buffet. No characters which makes it more peaceful and you can usually walk up without a reservation.

We tend to go there on a DHS day as the boat dock is so convenient to it.

When I stay at the BWV, the very best breakfast is always piping hot Starbucks fresh brewed coffee and a healthy McMuffin (whole wheat, poached, spinach w/ lemon juice and light cream cheese or sharp) cooked to order right in my room and served....on my balcony!:goodvibes:
