At The Studios at rope drop, made the B-line for TSM, then 2 rides on TOT, a GMR ride, and back to TSM to use our FPs.

By then it was 11:30.
So we headed over to Epcot to hit the kiosks we'd missed previously.

We rode Test Track, and then headed back to swim.

About 6 we headed over to the Magic Kingdom.

It was October 1st, the Magic Kingdom's birthday, and if you have the newest Disney Files magazine, in the center of the mag you'll see the birthday pins the CMs get every year.
So, we thought we'd try to score one.
Well, we got to the MK and walked around, and noticed nobody had a pin on. I went to guest services to inquire, and the girl we spoke
to said that they didn't get a pin this year. Usually they are handed the pin when they clock in, and for the 1st time in 37 years, no pin!
That's sorta sad.
We drowned our sorrows in Dole Whip Floats.
Then rode Haunted Mansion, and because I was still sad, I further consoled myself with a burger at Pecos Bill's.
About 8, we took the monorail over to the Polynesian, where we met up with Pam, Tom, Kathy, Ron, Dave (daddio) and his wife Kathy.
Watched Wishes and talked. Afterwards, Pam and Tom were kind enough to drive us back to the BW.

Wow, these posts are coming fast!

Too bad about the MK B-day pin. It doesn't make much sense. In my recent hours and hours of looking on ebay (told you, it is my new addiction) for Disney pins, I've seen nurses' day, friendship day, Chinese New Year, and even a Kermit Leap Day (which, of course, I had to buy). Why no MK B-day is beyond me.

I know what you mean about too short vacations. To save points, for me it makes the best sense to stay Sun-Thurs night, leaving on Friday. But ideally I like 7 (full) days and 6 nights. It's long enough to do everything I want, without getting to the point where I need a "vacation" after to recooperate.
