Made the 8AM rope drop at Epcot, and went right to Soarin', which was walk on. Got a FP on the way out, and headed over to Spaceship Earth.
Rode it twice, once in English, and the second time in Portuguese. Why Portuguese, I have no idea! I pressed English. Weird.
Over to the Nemo Seas, and rode Finding Nemo, and watched a Turtle Talk.

Went back to The Land and used our Soarin' FPs.
By now it was almost 11, so we made our way up to WS to hit some (okay, a lot) of the F & W kiosks.

Had some great, and not so great food, but all the wine was good. Even Barbie had some ice wine, and Barbie doesn't drink. She is
such a non drinker, that by 12:30, she said that she was going back to the room for a nap, as I believed the ice wine/heat/sun had knocked her out.
Brave adventurer that I am, I continued on.
I did the free beer seminar at the America pavilion, and enjoyed some samples of Samuel Adams.

After that I continued to eat and drink till I was full and feeling good, and decided to ride Test Track.
I went over to the F & W Welcome Center to check out the merchandise, and discovered I was only 10 minutes away from a free WIne Seminar, so
I attended that.

Shirah Vs. Shiraz. Delicious. Next year, I hope to attend more of these events.

So, now that I'd had even more wine, and was feeling even better, it was time to use my FP for Test Track. Got to TT, and the ride was down. Probably for the best.
I headed back to the BW for a swim.
After our swim, we went down to Spoodles to see if they had a table available, and they did. I cancelled our ADRs there for the next night, and we sat down to a really good dinner. I had the grilled beef kabobs, Barbie the rigatoni. A note on the kabobs, our server, Daniel, suggested I get the sauce they usually put on the beef, on the side. I'm glad he did, as it wasn't at all to my liking.

After dinner, we hopped a bus to Downtown Disney. It was a mad house. I realized too late, that the MK had closed at 7, for the MNSSHP, and that most of the people
were apparently now at DD. So, after picking up just one T-shirt, we got out of there. At least Barbie made some good pin trades.
We got off the boat at the Swan and or Dolphin, and made our way to the bridge connecting BW to Y & B, and watched Illuminations.

Then we watched some boardwalk entertainment, as Hallowishes went off in the distance. We LOVE the Boardwalk.

Your trip report is awesome. Sounds like you got to do some of what we seemed never to be able to--take time just to relax at the pool.

Spaceship Earth twice, huh. It used to be one of my favorite rides. I was very disappointed riding it after the big refurbishment. I don't mind the scene changes too much, or the design your own future (though it does fit more with the games available AFTER the ride), but I don't like Judi Dench as the narrator. It doesn't seem to fit; she seems too forced, too light, like she's trying to be funny or something. I miss the dark, mysteriousness of Jeremy Irons.

Looking forward to more!

Thanks for the kind words. It was a great trip. Too short. Staying at BWV was great, the proximity to Epcot and the Studios makes it very easy to go and relax between park visits. I think if we were doing all buses, like we have in the past, we wouldn't have broken away to swim so much.
I'm having serious withdrawl WDW today.:(

I liked the new Spaceship Earth, but I know what you mean about Judi Dench. Her voice wasn't strong enough, in my opinion.

Sounds like you not only had a relaxing trip, but that you ate your way around and around the world!

Great trip report! For those of us who haven't been to the F&W festival yet, is there a map of where each booth is and if so, where do we get it? Also, of all the foods you tried, what do you recommend and what do you un-recommend (like, "don't bother")?

There is a Festival Guide, which has a map and description of each kiosks offerings. You can pick it up at the Welcome Center in Epcot, which is located at the old Wonders of Life Pavilion, in Future World. They are also available in the shops around World Showcase.

Our favorite was the grilled beef with chimichurri sauce at the Argentina kiosk. We also really like the food from Canada, Morocco, and the Mango Mousse from India. I didn't care at all for the food from Mexico, and South Africa. The food ran the entire gamut from really good to just awful, in my opinion, I guess it's a matter of taste. Another thing, when we do it again next year, we are going to break the food down by regions, and stick to one a day. Mixing the Salmon from Canada with the Manti with yogurt sauce from Turkey played havoc on my stomach later.

I feel the same way about it. And Horizons. And the original Journey Into Imagination. And World of Motion, even though I really like Test Track.

*sigh* I know Disney wants to keep up to date, but it's hard when really good attractions go the way of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (which was my favorite ride my very first visit to WDW back at age 11). I think it would be one thing if they just totally redo the space, like Mission:Space for Horizons. But the new Journey is just an insult to Figment.

:rolleye11: Imagination. . .

Super report Nick! :thumbsup2:

Thanks for F&W foodie recommendations. I wasn't too sure what to try and what to skip but will be sure not to mix! :D
