Anyone been to DisneyQuest recently on a Saturday?

I was originally considering going on Saturday evening, but when I really stop and think, it sounds like a bad idea. You would think Saturday would be one of the busiest days of the week...and Saturday evening perhaps the worst.

Last time we went to DQ it was a weekday afternoon shortly after opening. The place was nearly empty. We did the POTC game 2 or 3 times with basically no wait. Did the raft ride with no wait. The arcade games weren\'t busy.

I\'d like to have that sort of experience again, but it doesn\'t seem likely on a Saturday. Any comments?

I went on a Sat last year to just walk around (we have PAP\'s), it was about 5pm or so, and we left within 10 minutes, it was absolutely insane. Then again, I think it was dark, and tight corners and such. Everything though did have a long line. I think this was in November.

Maybe the time of year could have something to do with it.

No, I think that\'s probably typical. I\'ve been there before when it was a zoo. Don\'t remember the time of year but we almost always visit when it is slow. I just think it\'s a natural destination for the evenings. In the morning and early afternoon, most people are in the theme parks.

Thanks for the feedback, Roz. I\'ll just chalk this up to one of those \"what was I thinking\" moments. :oweye:

I\'m just glad it occurred to me to ask--and now alter my plans accordingly!

My boys have gone twice, both times on New Years day. They said it was very crowded, but they still were able to do everything they wanted to without much waiting. Not my cup of tea, so doubt I will ever visit DQ.

My only advice would be to stay away when it\'s raining!
