Want to see who's going to be in the world (or the land) when you are? Hit Calendar in the blue bar above and you can look through who's going or enter your own trip. Then, the next time you're in DL or WDW, you can meet some of your fellow DVCNewsies!
Let us know if you need any help!

Wow Carrie, one of us is Psychic! I was going to post about the calendar earlier this morning and got distracted. I remembered a few minutes ago, but you had already posted about it. Funny! As I often say, DMTA! (Disney Minds Think Alike) :goodvibes:

Something is wrong withb your calendar. When I'm there in Oct the parks are packed, especially EPCOT due to F&W.
I don't see any names.

After you go to the calendar link, just go to teh Add Event box in teh lower right.
BTW, if you put your b-day in your profile (no year needed) it will show up on the calendar.

What do we do if we make a mistake on the dates, like saying we're going the third to the fourteenth, when we really meant the eleventh? Of course, I would never make a mistake like that (Hey, I also can't find smilies) but someone might.

I am not sure if this works for everyone or it's unique to moderators, so if it doesn't work for you that's why:
Click on the calendar entry you want to change (the actual words you typed in). The event will open up and there will be a box in the lower right corner that says "event options". Click there and there is an option to "edit event".
Thanks for asking even though you personally would never need this information. (cough, cough) :goodvibes:

You may not have forgotten, you may have never put it there. If your birthday is in your profile it's automatically put on the calendar. :)
Woohoo, can't wait to see that last week in October fill up with trips!

I never noticed before today that there is an option to be notified before an event. Not that I need to be reminded about a WDW trip, but I still put in for an email just for the fun of it.

To add a countdown clock to your signature (which I think is what youre asking), you have to go to a site and make one. Then you will be given a code that you paste into your signature (by using the "edit signature" link, most easily found by clicking "quick links" in the blue bar above on this page).
Usually when you create a calendar they give you a few choices, depending on what site you use. Do NOT use the html option, that won't work here. Use the one that says it's for message boards. Below are some links to signature sites, if you run into any questions post back here or PM me and I'll help you. (If I recall correctly you have to sign up for account to get a countdown for the first link below, but it's free and they don't send you any spam).
